Our Written Warranty
Every residential job from Excellence Reglazing comes with a written warranty and a care and maintenance sheet. Here are the full terms.
Warranty Periods
5 years: residential refinishing
3 years: rental units
1 year: hotel/motel or commercial refinishing
Kitchen sink refinishing is not covered.
What the Warranty Covers
If the surface blisters, peels, cracks, fades, or there is a surface or adhesion failure caused by a defect in the product or workmanship, Excellence Reglazing must be notified of the defect immediately. The Buyer must also produce a paid invoice for the product in question. Excellence Reglazing will inspect, either on location or by client-sent photos, and determine whether the damage was caused by a defect in the product or workmanship. If the Buyer notifies the Seller within the warranty period of any of the defects above, and the Buyer shows the materials were used and maintained in accordance with the Seller's recommendations and standard industry practice, the Seller will cure the defects by suitable repair at its own expense and discretion, and the original warranty period will remain in force.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Excluding (but not limited to): improper care or maintenance of the refinished surface as outlined in the Excellence Reglazing Care and Maintenance Sheet. Chipping, scratches, stains or knife marks due to misuse or neglect of the refinished surface. Abrasive damage or discoloration due to bleaches, dyes or acids, and/or problems caused by leaky plumbing. Peeling larger than one square foot. Damage caused by sharp or heavy objects or by bath mats with suction cups. The use of harsh agents such as Comet, Ajax or bleach may discolor or damage the surface. Areas of the surface may become more worn from heavy cleaning and/or heavy use. Damage to the surface resulting from heavy cleaning, excessive use and/or leaky plumbing is expressly excluded under this warranty. Excellence Reglazing does not warranty kitchen sink refinishing due to the high probability of the sink being hit by heavy pots and pans.
Other Warranties Excluded
This warranty is exclusive of any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or other warranty of quality, whether expressed or implied, except for the warranty of title and against patent infringement. The Seller's employees' oral statements do not constitute warranties, shall not be relied upon by the Buyer, and are not part of the agreement. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on the face hereof. Cure of defects, in the manner deemed appropriate by Excellence Reglazing and for the period of time provided above, shall constitute the Buyer's sole and exclusive remedy with respect to the product. This warranty is for the original Owner/Buyer and is not transferable. Rental units carry a 3-year warranty on refinishing.
